    Curriculum

A very warm welcome to Troon Community Primary and Nursery School. I am extremely proud to be Headteacher of Troon School, a warm, safe, caring and vibrant school welcoming children from 2-11 years old.

At Troon School, we strongly believe that every child is entitled to a rich and exciting curriculum. We ensure that all of our children are well supported so that they can make good progress in their learning and development to achieve our school motto ‘be the best we can.’  Visits and visitors cement our curriculum, enhance and deepen our children’s knowledge and inspire a ‘thirst’ for learning. We ensure that our children have access to a range of learning experiences, as we believe that they are a trigger for bringing the curriculum to life. We are proud to offer our pupils a wide range of extra-curricular activities outside of the school day.

We have a strong pastoral team to support both our children and families through times when life becomes challenging. We believe that building relationships is fundamental to our success.
We prepare our children to live full active lives as part of their community and into adulthood ensuring that they are well prepared for life in modern Britain. Our children are reflective about their own beliefs and have respect for others beliefs, views and feelings. Children leave our school after been exposed to a strong spiritual, moral, social and cultural education taught through our school values that are weaved into every school day.

We believe our school is a special place to learn and welcome visitors to come and see for themselves.
