Michael Rosen Class

Welcome to Michael Rosen class. We are a Year 3/4 class and our class teacher is Mr Banks. We also have Mrs Rail, Miss Winspear and Mrs Trengove to support us with our learning.

In Michael Rosen class, we love sharing poems and stories, especially by our favourite author Michael Rosen. We were very excited when the REAL Michael Rosen answered our question!

What’s your favourite poem or story written by Michael Rosen?

One of our favourite poems by Michael Rosen is Chocolate Cake

Our Big Question this term is

‘What is the difference between St Ives and London?’

We will be looking at the human and physical geography features of both St Ives and London, what makes them so different and why!

In Art we are learning about Barbara Hepworth and what has inspired her wonderful sculptures.

In DT we will learning about food preparation and different cooking processes.

PE days this term are Mondays and Wednesdays so please remember to have your full PE kit in school. It is advisable to have your PE kit in school every day just incase of any changes to our timetable.

We need to make sure that home/school diaries are brought into school each day and that we try our best to read at least 3 times a week. If our diaries are signed then we will collect stars and they give us the opportunity to win prizes and join Mrs Wilkins' special tea parties!
