Welcome to Troon Community Primary and Nursery School. It is a privilege to be the Headteacher of this warm, caring and vibrant school, where children aged 2 to 11 are welcomed, valued and celebrated.
At Troon, we believe every child deserves an education that is exciting, ambitious and inspiring. Our curriculum is designed to spark curiosity, broaden horizons and help every learner make strong progress so they can truly “Be the best we can.” Enriching experiences such as trips, visitors and hands‑on activities bring learning to life and nurture a genuine love of discovery. We are also proud to offer a wide range of extra‑curricular clubs that encourage children to explore their interests beyond the classroom.
We know that children thrive when they feel understood and supported. Our dedicated team work closely with pupils and families, providing guidance and care through both everyday challenges and more difficult moments. Building positive, trusting relationships sits at the heart of everything we do.
We prepare our pupils to lead active, confident and responsible lives in their community and beyond. Through our strong spiritual, moral, social and cultural education, underpinned by our school values, children learn to reflect, show respect and appreciate the beliefs and perspectives of others. By the time they leave us, they are well equipped for life in modern Britain.
Troon School is a special place to learn, grow and belong. We warmly welcome visitors and would love you to come and experience our school for yourself.
